Description: Individual applying must be 21 years of age. Responsible for creating, directing, and supervising fun / age + ability appropriate programs and activities for campers. Design and implement activities that focus on biology, ecology, natural history, and other related fields. A mixture of uses of the camp environment, and resources available is encouraged. The Nature Director has a designated space where materials are held and programs can take place. It is the responsibility of the Nature Director to maintain a clean and organized area, as well as ensure the safety of campers within the their care. The Nature Director is a member of the senior staff team, and as such, is responsible for assisting to lead general camp activities, camper safety, and basic maintenance of the facility. The Nature Director will often have the assistance of a counselor / CIT during programs.
